By downloading or using Dil Defteri (the “App”) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App. If the Turkish and English versions differ, the Turkish version prevails.
1. The service
Dil Defteri is a mobile app for keeping your own vocabulary notebook, reviewing it with exercises and studying with ready-made language courses. The core features are free and may include ads. The free version limits the number of notebooks and words (currently up to 2 notebooks and 200 words in total); if you reach the limit, everything you have already added stays available and only new additions require Pro. 2. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
- You can delete your account at any time.
3. Dil Defteri Pro
- Pro is a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Pro removes the notebook and word limits and turns off ads in the App.
- Payment is taken by Google Play or the App Store and is subject to their terms. Refund requests are handled under the respective store’s refund policy.
- Pro is tied to your Dil Defteri account and store account, and can be restored on a new device with “Restore purchases”.
- Pro remains valid for as long as the App is available. If additional paid features are offered in the future they will be announced separately; the existing Pro scope will not be reduced retroactively.
4. Your content
The words, meanings and sentences you add belong to you. We process them only to provide the service (store, sync and show them to you). Don’t add content that infringes others’ rights or is unlawful.
5. Course content
Course content (word lists, translations, example sentences) is prepared with care but is not guaranteed to be error-free. You may use it for personal learning only and may not copy or republish it.
6. Unacceptable use
Reverse engineering the App, attempting to bypass security measures, overloading it with automated tools or trying to access other users’ accounts is prohibited. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
7. Limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the App. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms and will announce significant changes in the App or on this page. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain applicable.
